In this short video blog I continue to answer more of the quality questions from Jennifer Lynn Archuleta. Being an ethical fair trade jeweller is not easy, it is very difficult and the questions Jennifer asks go some way to demonstrating that challenge. I will answer more of Jennifer’s question in later postings.

In this post we look at carbon emissions in gemstone mining, and the lack of transparency around the subject. Perhaps the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) could research this vital piece of ethical information.
