In 1996, Greg Valerio started a small Fairtrade Jewellery company called CRED Jewellery. Since those heady pioneering days of Green Gold Wedding rings, creating Fairtrade Gold and fighting for Ruby Rights in Greenland, the adventures in ethical jewellery have continued to embrace the socially and environmentally transformative idea that jewellery is more than just adornment. Jewellery is talismanic, a symbol of who we are and what we stand for. Whether it is a wedding ring, a bespoke piece that celebrates an anniversary or birth of a child. Valerio Jewellery is a collaboration between two long standing friends, Steve Copping and Greg Valerio. Both went to the same school, Chichester High School for Boys (brats) in Chichester during the 80’s. Recently they have reconnected and are bringing their respective expertise in beginning the adventure of developing a luxury online jewellery brand that is dedicated to redefining how luxury jewellery is created, sold and perceived by the public.
